Alzu Pig Feeds

ALZU pig feeds are formulated on sound scientific principles including nutrient designs for the correct protein/amino acid and energy balance. The feeds are manufactured for the optimum production and growth during the various stages of the pig's life. It is not recommended to add any additional feeds as it will cause an unbalanced diet. A vitamin and mineral premix pack is added as a standard to all Alzu's pig feeds.

FEEDING OF PIGLETS

(Birth mass 1,4-1,5kg) During the first 3 weeks the piglet gets most of its nutrients from the dam. It is recommended to inject Fe(Iron) between 3-7 days after birth. From 15 days start giving adlib ASA1 to the piglets until weaning. The feed must always be fresh to stimulate intake. Wean on 28 days. After weaning feed 2kg ASA1 and 2kg ASA 2 per piglet.

The target weaning mass is: 6,75-8kg

Alzu PIG WEANER (VS180) V12067

Keep feeding ASA1. The total intake of ASA1/piglet should be 2kg. Follow up with ASA2. The intake on the ASA2 should be 2kg/piglet.

Start going onto Alzu PIG WEANER VS180 gradually and feed till 60 days (25-27kg).

The average intake of feed over this period should be 1,5kg and the weight gain should be 0,55g/day/pig.

Alzu GROWER (VG160) V11905

Feed Alzu Grower VG160 from 60 days till marketing ad libitum. The average intake from 70-112 days should be 2kg/pig/day and weight gain 900g/pig/day. From 113-168 days the intake increase to 2,5kg/pig/day and the weight gain is 1,2kg/pig/day.

Feeding of the breeding herd

Alzu SOW & BOAR (VB150) V12066 Alzu

Sow and Boar are given to the dry sow from serving or AI till about one week before farrowing. Feed intake should be 2,5kg/sow/day till 1 week before farrowing. Increase gradually to 4kg/day till one week before farrowing. If the sow is bad condition start with 3.0kg per day. After farrowing one can increase the feed to 3.5kg per sow per day.

The young boar is fed VB150 from 2 months before putting him to the sows. The accepted growth ratio of the boar is 150g/day with a target mass of 175kg. The working boar should get 2,2-2,9kg of VB150 per day.

Alzu LACTATING MASH (VL160) V12068

Start giving Alzu Lactating one week before farrowing at 2kg/sow/day. After farrowing increase to 5kg/sow/day for the first week and increase again to 8kg/sow/day till wean. From weaning till serving feed 4kg/sow/day.
